Friday night I got all dressed up for my boyfriend's work doo.

These are all the products I used on my face: (left to right)
Smashbox photo finish primer, Bourjois Healthy mix foundation, Urban Decay all nighted setting spray, Collection lasting perfection face powder, Bourjois bronzer, Soap and Glory Kick ass concealer, Nars blush, Mac cream colour base.
First things first I applied a primer after moisturising my face as an all over base...
This primer by smashbox (cute mini travel version) is such an amazing product! With combination skin which can sometimes get oily throughout the day, this primer helps to make my makeup last longer and provides a nice smooth base when applying foundation. This primer is particularly good for a night out when lets be honest sometimes you can get a tad of a glow (or sweaty!!). Also some primers can make your face shiny in photographs which is never good but I have never had any shininess issues with this product!
After primer I applied my Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer all over my face…
So I have used this foundation for years now and it is by far my favourite 'drug store' foundation out there at the moment. I love that Bourjois' healthy mix foundation can give a range of coverage depending on whether you're having a good skin day or not! Apply lightly for a natural glowy look, or apply a bit thicker for a flawless face. This foundation also smells amazingly fruity and delicious! which is a big plus for me as I love things that smell nice. This foundation is really affordable and lasts me forever, you can get it in boots and superdrug in the UK.
After foundation I applied concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes/volcanos that I may have erupting on my face!! At the moment I have been loving Soap and Glory's kick ass concealer. I have written a whole blog post reviewing this product if you are interested :)
To set everything in place and for a tad extra coverage I used the Collection lasting perfection powder which can be found in Superdrug. Then I used the Bourjois bronzer below to give the face a bit of colour and shape.
Next I used Nars' blush in Orgasm which is a beautiful peachy pink colour with gold shimmer. I love this blush and have used it religiously for ages!! It gives a lovely finish on the skin with a golden sun kissed glow. Although this blush is a tad expensive… I use it every day and really get my moneys worth!
This product by Mac is another good edition to your makeup bag… its called a cream colour base which you can apparently use for your eyes, cheeks and lips however, I just use this on the top of my cheek bones and down my nose as a highlight colour. This shade is called Shell and its a really pretty shimmery pink colour.

To finish and set all of my face makeup I lastly used a setting spray by Urban Decay called All nighted. This keeps your makeup 'all night' as it claims and honestly when you get home from a night out your makeup looks exactly as it did when you left!
