So last week I finally graduated from Newcastle University! I cannot believe how fast these last three years have gone and after all the preparation and build up to my graduation, in a blink it's gone!
I thought you may want to see what my outfit was like and what jewellery I decided to wear...
During my time at Newcastle University I studied Bsc in Marine Zoology and achieved an upper second class honours degree. I was extremely nervous and excited to graduate last Thursday, I cannot believe it's all gone in a flash!
So what was I wearing?...
Well a few weeks ago now I spotted this beautiful dress in Coast, which is one of my favourite shops for pretty, special occasion dresses. Luckily they had an offer on at the time for 20% student discount so I had to snap this dress up!! Including the discount this dress was £60 and I was happy to pay this for such a lovely dress for my graduation.
Without knowing I managed to choose a dress that matched my graduation gown colours!
My shoes are from Next and were £22.
I decided not to wear heals as I knew I would be on my feet most of the day and as I am relatively tall for a girl I didn't think heals were necessary!
I had a fantastic day with all my friends and family and we could not have asked for better weather!
I decided to wear quite simple and delicate jewellery for the day including my Michael Kors white and rose gold watch and my rose gold Kate Spade bow earrings.
I was thoroughly spoiled by my boyfriend and was lucky enough to get a rose gold beaded Michael Kors bracelet as a graduation gift, which I also wore on the day to accompany my other jewellery.
