So I thought I would give you girlies a surprise bonus Saturday post as I was dying to review this little beauty for you all!
This is the Loreal Lumi Magique, touch of light highlighting pen...
This retails in Boots for around £8.49 in the UK and is a great product to use underneath your eyes as a brightener to cover those pesky dark circles.
The product is a bit of a cop cat of the Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Eclat which has the same pen like concept. The highlighter in both products is dispensed by twisting the bottom and then the pen end can be used to apply.
Having never tried the Touche Eclat I cannot compare the two but as the Yves Sain Laurent version retails for £25!! I know which one I would rather buy!
I think in general Loreal do some lovely face makeup and this is no exception! The concealer/highlighter is creamy and really easy to apply.
However, if you are looking for heavy high coverage this concealer probably isn't for you.
Another downside to this product is that I have noticed creasing after wearing this all day even with a primer, which is annoying! So for you ladies with oily skin this might not have the staying power you are looking for in a concealer.
Having said that this is a good brightening concealer for the under eyes and for generally highlighting the face. Application is easy and I believe it comes in a variety of shades for different skin tones.
Another plus is the quality of the packaging which always sucks me in!! Its beautiful and feels nice in your hand to apply! (if that makes sense!)
Boots in the UK often have this product included in the 3 for 2 offers so if you are eager to try this but would prefer to get some discount this might be the way to do so.
