This new 'Naked' shampoo from Herbal Essences is not out in the UK yet but is in the US. It comes in three scents, white grapefruit and mint extract, herbal mint fusion extract and white tea and mint extract.
I have tried the herbal mint fusion extract and white grapefruit and mint extract (picture below) and both smell really good and linger on the hair, so you get pleasant wiffs throughout the day!!
The grapefruit and mint and mint infusion scents are designed to create different looks, voluminous and moisturised hair. Having tried both these shampoos, I can safely say that they do their job!
After washing the shampoo also leaves your hair feeling really clean, but not stripped from its natural oils.
The Naked range claim to be free of any heavy residue, sulphates, dyes and parabens which is great for your hair!
Not only is this shampoo good for your hair, it is also more environmentally friendly than some other shampoos on the market. Shampoo along with laundry detergent and similar products can be harmful to the environment and particularly to the ocean. For example, some of the chemicals in shampoo can leach into the sea and cause issues within coral reef ecosystems. As I'm sure you all know there are already many factors effecting the health of coral reefs and the marine ecosystem as a whole. As a result using natural shampoos such as the Naked range from Herbal Essences can be beneficial to the environment and can reduce their effects.
If you are planning to go on holiday to a small island or somewhere on the coast which does not have an effective sewage treatment system such as some islands in the Caribbean, using a natural shampoo would be so much better for the surrounding marine environment!
Do your bit to help the oceans and use natural shampoos that are better for your hair, smell amazing and can create bouncy, moisturised locks!
Overall I love these new Shampoos from Herbal Essences and I can't wait until they are available in the UK!!
